各种腐蚀性化学药品流体、硝酸氰氟酸、强碱等。石油、化学、食品等工业的设备装置所用法兰，阀门、泵的密封。

组成及特点
以聚四氟乙烯纤维为主体材料，经过编织制成的绳状产品。

这种填料具有优良的耐腐蚀性，耐磨性和较高的机械强度并且润滑性好，摩擦系数小，扭矩小。但其热传导性差，热膨胀系数大，因而在线速度高的部位密封，须采取强制冷却，润滑等措施避免造成烧坏填料和增大轴与柱塞的磨损。
